Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: 09/01/2026
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, in house and beeper call
  • Mostly Overnights
• Hospital and call coverage

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Hospital Call OB/GYN
• Call Ratio: 1:6
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 4
• Onsite Lab & Ultrasound
• Required Obstetrics Procedures:
  • Low Risk Pregnancy (e.g., History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis)
  • High Risk Pregnancy (e.g., Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease)
• Labor and Delivery Required Procedures:
  • Routine Delivery - Vaginal, Low Forceps
  • Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery - C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions
  • VBAC's
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
• Gynecology Required Procedures:
  • Surgical Gynecology - Open
  • Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only - Tubal Ligation, LOA's, Chromal Tubation
  • Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) - Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA's

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
• Active PA State License - Highly Preferred
• BLS, ACLS
• Local providers only
