Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2040 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required. Airway management devices/suctioning: Endrotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning. Nebulizer: Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar. Oxygen therapy: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-piece, Trach collar. Ventilator management: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and respiratory infections. ABG sampling, ventilator mgmt, patient assessment, pulmonary hygiene.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required: Nights if possible - 1 every other week. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Willing to rotate between acute and LTC care for 3 twelves per week with every other weekend.

Maximum consecutive days off: 10

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
