Press OperatorElkhart, IN 46516Job DescriptionTitle: 2nd Shift Press Operator (Train on 1st Shift) Pay: $16/HOUR - Pay will increase to $18 on 2nd shift Location: Elkhart, INJob Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Flexo Press Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain a Mark Andy Flexographic Printing Press. Responsible for producing complete specialized print orders in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output. Work closely with team members to exceed customer expectations.Setting rotary die to print registrationMonitors print quality during production run to ensure quality standardsHolding accuracy and attention to detail, verifying processes and work performedProviding excellent communication, customer service and good team working skillsMaintain accurate production records, logs, and reportsCalibrate equipment as needed and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or escalate to maintenance when necessaryMaintaining an organized, safe and clean work environmentWorking independently and within a team, in a fast-paced production environmentEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulationsQualifications: Prefer 1+ year experience in Flexographic Printing. Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical documents, and machine manuals. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Resourceful and willing to independently learn new skills and techniques associated with the operation of equipment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights or weekends if required.
