Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid | 3 Days Onsite

Compensation: Up to $90,000 Annually

Location: Park Ridge, IL

About the Opportunity

The Ursitti Group Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for an exciting Contract-to-Hire HR Manager opportunity with a growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who has developed a strong foundation in human resources and is ready to take the next step in their career into a leadership role.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR, including employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and HRIS administration. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred, and experience supporting benefits administration and annual open enrollment is a significant plus.

This is a hybrid position , with an expectation of working onsite three days per week .

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and management across the organization.
• Support and manage day-to-day human resources operations and initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Administer and maintain employee information within the organization’s HRIS.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for HR-related processes and employee data management.
• Support benefits administration, including employee questions, enrollments, changes, and annual open enrollment.
• Assist with compliance related to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, communicate, and help enforce company policies and procedures.
• Assist with performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Partner with payroll and leadership to ensure employee information and changes are processed accurately.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and overall organizational effectiveness.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
• Perform additional HR-related duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience or comparable hands-on HR experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of core HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HR administration.
• Experience working with an HRIS; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred .
• Experience with benefits administration and/or annual open enrollment preferred.
• Strong understanding of employment practices and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable partnering with employees and leadership at all levels of an organization.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated desire to grow professionally and take on increasing HR responsibility.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an HR Generalist who is ready for the next step . You may currently be functioning as a strong HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar HR professional and are looking for an opportunity to expand your responsibilities and grow into an HR leadership role.

The successful candidate will be someone who is hands-on, solutions-oriented, approachable, and confident working with both employees and leadership .
