2026 Salary Range: $38.08 - $44.43/Hour (includes locality)

The primary duty of this position is to supervise and manage a team by planning and directing weekly or monthly work assignments, setting priorities, and allocating personnel and resources effectively. This role coordinates with other departments, provides technical guidance, and resolves work-related issues such as low productivity or excessive costs. Key responsibilities include managing the entire employee lifecycle, from developing performance plans and providing continuous feedback to handling promotions, training needs, and disciplinary actions. The supervisor also manages leave schedules, investigates grievances, and ensures strict adherence to all security and safety regulations, including reporting any violations and hazards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of a wide range of principles, and techniques of trades and/or crafts supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity / Equal Employment Treatment.

2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.

5. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish the mission.

6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
