HP Retail Sales Representative

Job Type: Regular • Work Location: Best Buy 500, Traverse City, MI 49684 Overview Become a Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate. Pay: $18.50 per hour. Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred, with flexible Friday options available based on location needs. Location: Best Buy and surrounding office supply stores. Day‑in‑the‑Life Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. Build rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees. Engage customers to create a memorable experience. Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within the assigned store. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Responsibilities Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments. Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Courteously welcome customers, offer assistance, and direct them to displays. Assess needs, suggest suitable products, and provide product information. Help customers make selections by building confidence. Accurately document and report sales. Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations. Keep workstation/kiosk clean, organized, functional, and presentable. Submit all paperwork in a complete and accurate manner. Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced team environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. What We Need From You Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiasm. Outgoing personality and eagerness to learn. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Capability to navigate a selling process that overcomes objections. Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus. Training or product demonstration experience is a plus. 1‑year job experience required.
