About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Operations to serve as its chief business and operations officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the institution's financial, administrative, and operational functions. This includes developing and implementing sound fiscal and operational practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advancing the institution's mission of high-quality education. The role involves executive leadership, financial management, grants and compliance, human resources administration, financial aid administration, operations and facilities management, business services, and organizational leadership. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance and Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and professional certification being preferred. A minimum of 5 years' leadership experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or operations is required, along with a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in governmental accounting, internal controls, and risk management, as well as experience in strategic planning, policy development, and collaborative decision-making. Knowledge of financial aid regulations and experience in higher education or public sector organizations is also desirable. The role demands excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster a culture of ethical leadership, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
