Structural Engineering Professional (EIT)

Location Requirement: Must reside in the U.S. Southeast Region (AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA) We’re seeking a Structural Engineering Professional (EIT) to support structural analysis and design for advanced industrial and semiconductor facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop technical skills, gain hands‑on experience, and grow within a collaborative design team. Pay: $40.00- $52.00 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities Assist with structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures Apply U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) Support development of design concepts and documentation Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and designers Perform calculations and assist with quality control reviews Manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) Engineer in Training (EIT) certification 2+ years of structural engineering experience Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Experience with steel and concrete design Industrial or semiconductor facility experience Additional Details Hybrid/remote role (U.S. Southeast region) Occasional field work may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr HKA Enterprises
