Heavy Equipment Operator

Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a large commercial project in Cumberland, RI. This is a great long term opportunity for steady work!

Job Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, loaders, backhoes, etc.)
Perform work on demolition, excavation, dredging, utility installation, and hardscaping projects
Read and interpret construction plans and grade stakes
Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew
Perform daily equipment inspections

Qualifications:

5–10 years of construction experience (preferred)
Proven experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
HAZWOPER 40 (required)
Strong communication skills
Commitment to safe work practices

Pay & Benefits:

$32-38/hr
