RN – Telemetry
Schedule: Shift: 12-hour Nights; 1900-0730 Days: 3 days per week Weekend Rotation: Every Other Required
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements: License: RN (state license required) Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience Skills: Experience with TR Bands, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process EMR: Experience with EPIC preferred
Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry data. Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Assess patient conditions and respond to changes effectively. Educate patients and families on care plans and health management. Document all patient interactions and care provided in the EMR.
Compliance / Notes: Orientation: Detailed training schedule provided prior to start date. Background checks and drug screens are required. Facility is a nicotine-free environment. Travel candidates must comply with policies regarding cancellations.
