Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments to gauge clients' mental health concerns and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.

  • Provide high-quality individual therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and more.

  • Set therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, regularly reviewing their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to support their journey towards wellness.

  • Offer teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who prefer virtual care or face mobility challenges, ensuring accessibility to mental health services.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation to uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements, reflecting our commitment to professionalism in every aspect of client care.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to enhance clinical skills and keep abreast of emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate their unique struggles and facilitating their journey towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

  • Demonstrable empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and challenges.

  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively manage caseloads and related administrative tasks.

  • Experience working in a private practice setting or providing teletherapy.

  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic techniques and an openness to continuing education should new methodologies emerge.
