Job Title: Procurement Manager (Senior)

Location: Warren, OH area

Salary: $110k-130k + Bonuses

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing and procurement activities of the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and service agreements
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and ongoing communication
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Implement quality management processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement in the procurement process
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement

Skills:
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing

-Must have been responsible for at least 100M in annual purchasing spend regionally and internationally

-Develop, plan, and manage a raw material supply base which ensures the identification of items critical to the process, enhances the internal customer process, and adds value while creating competitive buying and facilitating cost/savings/reductions between internal customers/suppliers.
- Proficient in contract management and supplier relationship management
- Experience in category management, including sourcing strategies and supplier segmentation
- Knowledge of quality management principles and practices
- Familiarity with procurement management systems and tools
- Understanding of supply chain logistics and supply chain management principles

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers
