Flexi Physical Therapist Assistant

Location Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Job Overview We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant at Sentara Therapy Center Port Warwick in Newport News, Virginia. This is a flexi/PRN role that will provide treatment coverage at 4 outpatient therapy centers in Hampton, Newport News, and Yorktown. As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. You will provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers, and supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Responsibilities Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. Assist in the development of treatment plans. Carry out routine functions and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
