3 months contract Location: Fishers, Indiana, 46037 This is a 10-hour shift 4 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 06:00-16:30 total of 40 hours per week. Certified Surgical First Assist with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Need 2 Professional References
Requirements:
4 ORs case mix- general, ortho, GYN, breast, cosmetic, urology, spine, podiatry 2 endoscopy suites - colonoscopy, EGD 1 procedure room - pain injections Davinci, MAKO, Stryker joint navigation, Aquablation, spine navigation
Skills: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
Responsibilities:
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
