About the job
The Service Desk Analyst provides first-level technical support to end-users by troubleshooting
hardware, software, networking, and communication issues while delivering excellent customer
service.
We're looking for someone who
● Has experience supporting various operating systems and computing devices
● Has experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop computer systems in a networked environment
● Communicates clearly and works well with others
● Delivers outstanding customer service and support
● Can diagnose and resolve technical issues using standard troubleshooting techniques
● Understands IT best practices, including information and physical security procedures
● Is familiar with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Zendesk
● Is familiar with remote desktop support tools
● Can effectively prioritize tasks and escalate complex issues when needed
What you'll do
● Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, peripherals, and networking issues
● Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems remotely whenever possible
● Escalate complex technical issues to senior support staff as needed
● Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot computers, communication devices, and peripherals
● Monitor system alerts, work queues, backups, and recovery activities
● Follow established security best practices and procedures
● Assign users the appropriate system access and resources
● Accurately document all customer interactions and support requests
● Perform other related duties as assigned
