Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) - Early Intervention Location: Queens Salary: $72–$74 per 30-minute visit Schedule: Contract | Flexible Caseload Position Overview A growing Early Intervention agency is seeking a NYS-licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide physical therapy evaluations and treatment to children from birth to age five in Howard Beach. This contract role offers a flexible caseload and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s everyday environments. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or another natural environment Develop and follow individualized treatment plans aligned with Early Intervention goals Document each session and coordinate with the child’s care team Qualifications Current New York State Physical Therapist license Specific experience working with children under age five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient Willingness to provide home-based visits, not school or daycare cases only One year or more of experience specifically with young children is preferred; experienced candidates new to this age group may be considered for mentorship. Area Coverage Cases are available in the Howard Beach area.
