Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Care Team Assistant (Receptionist) and become the welcoming face of our GIANT Steps Autism Program in Orem, Utah! This rewarding opportunity offers a competitive wage of $17.50–$22.17/hour and the chance to support children with autism and their families as they access specialized behavioral health services. GIANT Steps is a nationally recognized day-treatment program serving preschool-aged children with autism spectrum disorder through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that includes behavioral interventions, family support, therapy, psychiatric services, and partnerships with local school districts. As the first point of contact for families, you'll help create a warm, organized, and welcoming experience while supporting the daily operations of this life-changing program.

Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $17.50–$22.17 DOE

What You'll Do as a Care Team Assistant

• Welcome clients and families while providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones, respond to questions, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments, register new clients, and assist with intake processes.
• Process payments, assist with insurance authorizations, and answer billing questions.
• Maintain accurate client charts, electronic records, and program documentation.
• Coordinate communication between families, clinicians, school partners, and insurance providers.
• Complete administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the GIANT Steps program.
• Help create a welcoming, organized, and family-centered environment for children receiving autism services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of clerical, receptionist, administrative, or secretarial experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check.
