Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and directing individuals to the appropriate location. Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation, and report unusual activity according to post orders. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate. Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle access records, communicate relevant updates to site contacts, and support security-related operations at the post. Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
