Customer Service Clerk - LakeviewLakeview - Topeka, KSPosition SummaryThe Cashier performs essential store operations while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to every customer.Respond to and report customer complaints tactfully and promptly.Follow all company safety and security policies.Identify and eliminate safety hazards; report unsafe acts or conditions to management.Prepare required accident/incident reports and immediately notify Human Resources.Report to work on time and adjust to scheduling needs as required.Operate cash registers and point-of-sale equipment efficiently.Handle cash, safe drops, credit card transactions, and check-cashing procedures in accordance with company policies.Prepare shift reports and other reports required by management.Follow all company policies and applicable laws governing beverage and tobacco sales.Clean shelves, dispensers, restrooms, store interior, and other designated areas.Stock, rotate, price, and count merchandise; assist with inventory counts.Follow loss-prevention policies to prevent loss of cash and merchandise, including drive-offs.Build and remove merchandise displays.Assist management in maintaining buildings, equipment, and grounds.Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Area Manager.Snapshot of SuccessThe Haag Oil Snapshot of Success establishes the daily expectations for customer service, store appearance, cleanliness, stocking, and the sales floor and store lot.
