Job Summary
- Machine Operator- Level 1
- Runs extruder machine - basic operations
- Cuts parts to length
- Machines and fabricates parts
- Assembly of parts
- Deburrs parts after extrusion
- Packages finished product.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders, basic blue prints, shop drawings, process alerts, work instructions, etc. as required.
- Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math functions at a 12th grade level.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Has passion for their work and Ducommun; finds creative and unique ways to contribute to the team.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year minimum of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, entry level
