Shift leader

We are hiring a Shift Leader at Einstein Bros. Bagels Einstein Bros. Bagels offers breakfast and dinner with a focus on fresh baked bagels since 1995. We believe in spreading joy and maintaining work‑life balance with stores closing at 2 pm. We are looking for a Shift Leader to help motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Responsibilities Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and set the morale and tone of the shop. Provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Open and close the store with little to no supervision. Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The duties of this position may change from time to time. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Must be able to work varied hours, including early shifts as early as 3 am and weekends Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law Must have or obtain a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training Possession of a current, valid, state‑issued driver’s license is preferred but only required at specific locations Pay and Location Location: 400 N Dearborn St, Chicago, Illinois 60654 Hourly Rate: $14.57 – $21.86 per hour *Starting pay is subject to Local and State Minimum Wage regulations. **Ranges reflect what the employer reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for such position.
