Maintenance Supervisor – Affordable Housing Community (Aurora, IL) A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support a busy Section 8 apartment community in Aurora, IL. Position Overview The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all property maintenance operations, ensuring the community is safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This role is hands‑on and includes supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and managing preventative maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and support on‑site maintenance team members Complete and assign work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance Ensure all building systems and equipment are functioning properly Maintain compliance with HUD/Section 8 requirements and property standards Oversee vendor scheduling, project timelines, and maintenance budgets Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed Qualifications Previous maintenance lead or supervisor experience required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs Experience working in Section 8 or affordable housing communities strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation #J-18808-Ljbffr
