Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Nights Richmond, VA. This role involves providing specialized care to cardiac patients in a telemetry unit. The position requires delivering efficient patient monitoring and assessments, adhering to medical protocols, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and ends on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Ability to handle a fast-paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, and read EKGs. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to set priorities and modify patient care based on changing conditions. Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and effective communication skills to notify physicians about patient condition changes are preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit is a cardiac telemetry floor with 25 beds, equipped with EKG machines, Hoyer lifts, and LifePak monitors. Staff includes charge RNs, RNs, unit secretaries, and techs. The typical procedures performed include EKGs; most cardiac procedures are conducted in the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude.
