Web Developer

Salary: $92,000 - 132,000 per year Requirements:

• Associates degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in web design and development.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications with Drupal, HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, Git, Chrome Developer Tools, Jenkins (CI/CD), SEO, and web marketing practices.
• Exposure to backend frameworks and application integration; experience with federal web standards is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accessibility and usability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative development environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to stay current with web technologies and industry practices.
• Acquia Drupal certifications are encouraged but not required.

• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance front-end and back-end web applications.
• Plan and manage content and functionality across Internet, Intranet, Wiki, and social media platforms.
• Implement, migrate, integrate, and support content management systems, particularly Drupal.
• Maintain content, deliver enhancements, and make ongoing site improvements.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and performant, and apply internet security principles and protocols.
• Apply usability principles to site architecture, navigation, knowledge management, and information delivery.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate web applications and services.
• Use graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and GIMP to support visual and user interface needs.
• Test and validate applications for compliance with WCAG, Section 508, and ADA requirements.
• Ensure copyrighted materials are used appropriately in accordance with U.S. copyright laws.
