Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic neurosurgical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care, hospital medicine, and surgical support, with experience in managing complex patient cases. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, utilizing advanced EMR systems and engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: Physician Assistant will work directly under the supervision of a Dual Trained General & Endovascular Neurosurgeon First Assisting in the Operating Room Working up New, Established and Post-Operative patients in clinic Hospital Rounds Discharge Planning and Coordination with Clinical and Clerical Team to Ensure Adequate Follow-Up Timely Charting in Practice and Facility EHR systems Call Requirements: Serve as Primary Triage for Calls/Consults After Hours with Dual Trained Endovascular Neurosurgeon Approximately 4 Days Per Month at Level I Trauma Facility Serve as Primary Triage for Calls/Consults & Rounding with Physician 1 Weekend Per Month at Level I Trauma Facility Call Shifts are Compensated in Addition to Base Salary Salary Range: Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, with total earning potential of $135,000+ including call compensation. Qualifications Required: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current PA license to practice in the state of Tennessee. Neurosurgery, Endovascular or Orthopedic experience is preferable, but not required Open to New Graduates Interested in Neurosurgery with a Current and Valid TN State PA-C License Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
