Systems Validation Engineer

Our client, a leader in innovative electronics and hardware development, is seeking a Systems Validation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Systems Validation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Hardware Development Department supporting the validation and testing of cutting-edge hardware designs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Systems Validation Engineer

Location: Folsom, CA (Onsite - 5 days/week)

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

• Support power-on, bring-up, and validation of new hardware designs and associated control software in a hands-on electronics lab environment
• Execute hardware and system-level testing to ensure product quality and reliability
• Develop and document comprehensive test plans, specifications, and procedures from minimal requirements
• Analyze schematics to determine efficient test strategies for individual subsystems
• Design and build custom test setups and jigs to facilitate efficient validation processes

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• 3-10 years of experience in electrical hardware and system validation
• Strong understanding of analog and digital hardware systems
• Hands-on experience with lab bench equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, and function generator
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and datasheets accurately
