What You'll Be Doing

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, robotics, and automated production equipment

Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment running at peak performance

Respond to machine alarms, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

Support robot repairs, calibrations, and equipment adjustments

Document maintenance activities through computerized maintenance systems

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

Maintain compliance with safety, quality, GMP, and Lockout/Tagout procedures

What We're Looking For

Required

Injection molding maintenance experience

Experience with machine setup, changeovers, or process troubleshooting

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

Robotics and automation experience

Preventive maintenance and root cause analysis experience

CMMS/SAP experience

Medical device, pharmaceutical, plastics, or highly regulated manufacturing experience

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Rotating)

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Rotating)

Shift differential available for night shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
