Position Summary Bongards is looking for an energetic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our maintenance team. Job Duties Inspects and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Dismantles and reassembles defective machines and equipment. Installs new or repaired parts. Assembles, installs, or repairs pipe systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Records repairs made and maintains inventory guidelines. Cleans, lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. Performs preventative maintenance checks as scheduled. Must report all Food Safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement. Must follow all GMP’s and Safety guidelines. All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person. Minimum Requirements Must have previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or production environment. Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hi-speed manufacturing and production equipment. Physical Capabilities Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally May spend long periods of time standing. Why Join Us?
