Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on stroke and orthopedic patients. Responsibilities include providing intensive therapy, aiming for 3 hours of therapy each day, and assisting patients who require therapy to discharge home or transition to the next level of care in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducting therapy evaluations and developing treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation programs.
• Documenting patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience

Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current state license as an Occupational Therapist is required.
