Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Entry-Level Payroll Clerk to join our team in a part-time, remote capacity. Enter, review, and maintain employee timekeeping, attendance, and payroll records. Verify payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, and approved adjustments. Help maintain organized digital files and employee documentation. Respond to basic payroll-related inquiries and direct complex questions to the appropriate team member. Assist with identifying and correcting discrepancies in payroll records. Handle confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism and discretion. Support the payroll or human resources department with general administrative duties. Follow established procedures and applicable payroll policies. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. No prior payroll experience required; relevant training or administrative experience is a plus. Basic computer skills and familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and online applications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills.
