Blood Collector Opr GO01, 1st Shift Full-Time, Forest Growout (MLO)

Position Overview Location: Forest Office, 305 Cleveland Street, Forest, MS 39074. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Holiday and weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Drive company vehicle to grower farms to spray vaccine on live chickens. Record and maintain all required data as directed. Mix vaccine, load supplies for transport, weigh product, pull blood samples, cook fat samples, and prepare for delivery. Sanitize vehicle and equipment, perform vehicle inspections, and load/unload trays of product by hand. Perform other housekeeping tasks as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 6 months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid MS driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and no DUIT or DWI convictions. Must possess Tyson Operator’s Permit and meet biosecurity requirements. Must live within a 30‑mile radius of the facility. Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs and carry a vaccine backpack in excess of 75 lbs, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and work at a fast pace. Must report to work promptly and regularly, take directions from management, work well with others, and concentrate on tasks accurately. Must communicate orally, verbally, and in writing with managers and team members. Must be able to work in inclement conditions. Must adhere to Tyson Foods policies, including Animal Welfare and Bio‑Security guidelines. Must not own or possess domestic, wild, or exotic fowl.
