Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Float Pool

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A
- 36 hours per week available
- 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend

Assignment Details:
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks

Requirements:
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2 years recent experience in acute med surg/tele in a hospital
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates
- Experience with EPIC charting

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals in a med/surg environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must float to other units if needed.
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
- Required to work at least 1 holiday per contract.
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.
