Job Description
Christian Life School is seeking caring, flexible, and dependable Preschool Substitute Teachers to serve youngest students ages birth - 4 years old on an as-needed basis. Substitute teachers play an important role in providing a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment while maintaining continuity in the classroom during a teacher's absence.
Essential Responsibilities- Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
- Maintain a positive, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
- Supervise students throughout the school day, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and administration.
- Uphold the mission, values, and policies of Christian Life School. Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma required.
- Previous experience working with young children or in a preschool/day care setting is preferred.
- Classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and learning needs.
- Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice when available. Spiritual Qualifications
- Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.
- Be in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith.
- Regularly attend and actively participate in a Christian church.
