Mt. Juliet Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated HighSchool Boys Soccer Head Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment. As a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet, MJCA is committed to partnering with families in developing students to think, lead, and live as Christians based upon a biblical worldview.The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is passionate about soccer, committed to mentoring middle school boys, and able to model Christ-like character both on and off the field. Mount Juliet Christian Academy is a ministry of First Baptist Church Mount Juliet, and all MJCA employees affirm and agree to uphold the doctrines outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, as well as the beliefs and teachings of FBCMJ.Position ResponsibilitiesLead all aspects of the high school boys soccer programPlan and conduct daily practices focused on skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and sportsmanshipCoach all games and team eventsPromote discipline, accountability, and positive team cultureMentor student-athletes in leadership, character, and spiritual growthCommunicate effectively with players, parents, faculty, and athletic administrationEnsure compliance with school and applicable athletic association guidelinesOversee team equipment, uniforms, and game-day preparationSupport the overall mission and values of MJCA athleticsQualificationsPrevious soccer coaching and/or playing experience preferredExperience working with middle school students strongly preferredStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsDemonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus ChristCommitment to Christian education and the mission of MJCAAbility to pass required background checksCPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtainPreferred AttributesPrior experience in a Christian school environmentAbility to disciple and mentor student-athletesKnowledge of TSSAA middle school athletic expectations and sportsmanship standardsPassion for building a competitive and Christ-honoring programTime CommitmentSeasonal positionPractices and games are held after school during the soccer seasonSome evening and occasional weekend commitments may be requiredCompensationCoaching stipend commensurate with experience and school guidelines #J-18808-Ljbffr Mt Juliet Christian Academy
