Production Fabricator Location: Kansas City, KS 66117

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hr + Overtime Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend!)

What You'll Do (Essential Duties) As a Production Fabricator, you will bring blueprints to life, fitting steel materials with precision and utilizing MIG welding techniques.

• MIG Welding & Fitting: Interpret drawings/specifications and expertly fit steel materials to print using modern MIG processes.

• Finishing: Apply proper wire/filler materials across fabrication projects, finishing with manual and power grinding tools for a clean look.

• Operate & Collaborate: Run shop machinery, apply practical math, and work seamlessly with the team.

• Safety & Ownership: Maintain a clean work area and self-check your work for absolute accuracy.

What We Are Looking For We want a self-motivated team player who is safety-conscious and takes pride in their work.

Requirements:

• 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the US.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Forklift experience is required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug screens.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (A Plus, But They Will Train!):

• Prior assembly and dedicated MIG welding experience.

• Solid blueprint reading skills and sharp attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and climbing throughout a 10-hour shift.

• Repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Working comfortably in a non-temperature-controlled industrial environment with proper PPE.

Responsibilities

As a Production Fabricator, you will bring blueprints to life. You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fitting materials with precision, and utilizing modern welding techniques to deliver top-tier finished products.

• Fabricate & Fit: Interpret drawings/specifications and expertly fit steel materials to print.

• Welding & Finishing: Utilize a well working knowledge of wire/filler materials across various fabrication projects, finishing up with manual and power grinding tools for a clean, professional look.

• Operate & Collaborate: Run various shop machinery, apply practical mathematics, and work seamlessly alongside the drafting and assembly teams.

• Safety & Ownership: Maintain a clean, organized work area and self-check your work for absolute completeness and accuracy.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
• working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week
