Pulmonology/Critical Care Physician Opportunity

Medical Center is seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician to lead and develop a pioneering Pulmonary Critical Care program in a high-demand region. Practice across four major hospitals, establishing a foundational role in local healthcare. Collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of 15 providers across five specialties and five locations. Balanced work schedule: 1 week focused on critical care, 3 weeks on pulmonary duties. Call schedule: 1:4. Supported by nurse practitioner assistance for hospital rounds. Relocation allowance. Community/Facility info: 346-bed facility, 60 miles from Birmingham & 2 hours to Atlanta. The hospital features state-of-the-art technology and a medical staff of over 230 physicians. Services include the Heart Center open heart surgery with SICU, two Cath Labs and a cardiac CCU; the Cancer Center with Medical and Radiation Oncology; Women & Children's Center; and Surgical Services, including Arthroscopic, Laparoscopic, Lithotripsy, Neurological, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery and Urology.
