Our customer is an early-stage company headquartered in Austin, Texas, developing revolutionary low-cost, highly capable robotic systems. Their proprietary muscle-like actuator technology addresses a decades-old challenge in robotics, enabling automation for tasks current robots cannot do and humans don't want to. Position Overview: This role focuses on laboratory production work supporting our R&D efforts: preparing and testing material formulations, recording results, and contributing to the development of automated processes.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced robotics technology and gain experience in design, materials science, and manufacturing. Essentially this person will be responsible for doing the entire production process from start to finish. This includes receiving work instructions, gathering and prepping ingredients/materials, assembling & bundling fibers into kits, hooking up and testing the bundled fibers to ensure they are reacting/functioning properly, and documenting findings all along the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare material formulations and perform property testing.

• Operate lab tools such as scales, mixers, viscometers, microscopes, and custom testing rigs (training provided).

• Record data accurately and maintain clear documentation of processes.

• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Round Rock,TX.
