Schedule and Hours: 4 hour shift weekdays (evenings) and/or weekends (morning/afternoon) Year round work Able to commit to at least 20 hours per week The Position: The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills. Your Typical Responsibilities: Onboard, and manage employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations. Creation of employee schedules, and pool lesson schedules. Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur. Virtual/Zoom Onboard Training In Person Aquatics training (paid) Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management is a plus. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid Certifications, may be obtained during training. While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach. We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool.
