As a Security Officer – Concierge, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people on all shifts, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

What’s in it for you:

• Site location and type: Multi Story Office Building for a Loan Service Company
• We are seeking one candidate to fill our VA Flex Shift Supervisor position. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and requires open availability as well as documented leadership and/or supervisory experience.
• Sundays (Fixed): 2pm to 10pm (8-hour shift) serving in a Supervisor capacity and compensated at the Supervisor pay rate ($23.45).
• Weekdays (Flexible): 32 hours (open availability) serving in a Security Officer capacity and compensated at the Security Officer pay rate ($22.07). Outside of the fixed Sunday shift, the candidate must have open availability. To meet the 32-hour weekday requirement, you must be available to work any mix of mornings, evenings, and overnights on any day the site needs. This flex schedule may change on a weekly basis.
• Must complete 40 hours of on the job training

Responsibilities of a Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• You have Security, Military, Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more
• You have a DCJS Virginia Security License
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
