Project Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with Infrastructure experience for a Hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Major Insurance Company located in Minnetonka, MN. This is a 6+ month contract to perm opportunity. Pay range: $48.00 - $53.00 per hour This role will support a variety of infrastructure-focused initiatives, including Merger & Acquisition (M&A) integration projects and data center consolidation efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving progress and execution across multiple in-flight projects, coordinating activities across technical teams, and helping to establish project management discipline. This is a hands‑on role best suited for a mid‑level Project Manager or an experienced Project Coordinator who can independently drive execution. Responsibilities Drive progress and execution across multiple in-flight infrastructure and operations projects Track project tasks, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables Coordinate activities across technical teams, project stakeholders, and IT leadership Facilitate follow-ups and ensure accountability for assigned action items Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and project tracking tools Translate technical activities into clear, actionable project plans and deliverables Help establish project management discipline, structure, and best practices across the organization Create and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, and work breakdown structures Improve project visibility and reporting for leadership stakeholders Requirements Experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Junior Project Manager supporting technical or IT-focused projects Strong project coordination and organizational skills, including task tracking, milestone management, and status reporting Proven ability to drive projects forward and hold teams accountable for deliverables Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in environments with changing priorities and ambiguity Experience partnering with technical teams and translating technical work into actionable project tasks Strong attention to detail and follow-through Desired skills Experience supporting infrastructure, operations, networking, systems, or data center projects Familiarity with IT operational tools such as PagerDuty, Device42, or CMDB platforms Experience building project plans, schedules, and tracking mechanisms from the ground up Basic understanding of infrastructure concepts, networks, servers, and enterprise IT operations If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
