About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (10:45 - 21:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years in Operating Room, with experience circulating in General, Ortho, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, Whipple, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resection within the last 3 years. License: Must have an active nursing license. Certifications: Required certifications include BCLS. Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Da Vinci XI surgical system is required. Description: We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse. This position involves working Monday through Friday with call requirements. Traveling nurses can expect to handle a patient census of 70-80 patients daily. Candidates should have experience in various surgical procedures and specialties as listed. Nurses will be expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. The ability to respond to code situations is necessary. Travelers will be expected to perform charge duties if requested, provided they are within scope. Scrub experience is a plus. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care. Applicants should be prepared to work holidays as part of their schedule.
