Knight Transportation is hiring! We need a body and repair technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Experience with diesel equipment preferred but not required. If you are hardworking and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you! Location: 5601 W Buckeye Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85043 Pay: $21 - $29 Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Requirements

• 1+ years of body repair experience or comparable education
• Valid drivers license
• Comprehensive background check
• Pre-employment hair drug screen (marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Additional qualifications:

• High school or equivalent
• Experience in fiberglass repair, paint/paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA regulations
• Experience with on-the-job training
• Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
• Possess customer service & computer skills
• Ability to read & understand repair manuals
• Ability to multitask & work as a team
• Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required

Mechanic responsibilities:

• Perform bodywork repair with minimum supervision
• Perform troubleshooting on minor problems
• Ensure proper care of company tools/equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain a positive & proactive work environment
