Purchasing Specialist

Purchasing SpecialistExpress Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Purchasing Specialist position with a Leading Manufacturer. This position is a Direct Hire and will pay between $60 - $65K per year based on experience. The hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 5:00PM.ResponsibilitiesPurchase vendor management and purchase process controlManage the PR/PO process for spare (MRO) parts and budgeted supplies and consumablesReview vendor quotes and bids for accuracy and competitive strategiesEnsure consigned MRO inventories are verified and invoicedDirect operators and assign tasks to ensure operation of MRO receiving and warehouseIssue purchase orders and make necessary changes to existing orders to meet actual needsEnsure MRO inventory system data is monitored and maintainedReport on cycle count activity and resultsCan provide report of expected and actual spending related to monthly operating budgetsComplies with & supports the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by managementGood attitude, performance, and attendance is essentialQualificationsMust have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Purchasing and Inventory ControlBachelor's degree is preferredMust have several years of relevant experiencePrevious experience in Manufacturing Industry is preferredAble to lift up to 5lbs.Express Employment Professionals can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you'll never pay a fee for our services and support.
