Radiology Technologist Senior – Kenmore Radiology Technologist Senior responsibilities include performing and assisting in a variety of standard and specialized radiographic examinations and procedures for all age groups, adhering to established policies and procedures. Location: Kenmore – 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA, 02215 Department: Radiology Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm, flexible hours across multiple sites (Boston/Norwood/Dedham Region) Primary Responsibilities Scheduling staff for different areas Responsible for 5–7 direct reports Resolve patient and staff issues and act as a resource for others Coordinate others’ activities as needed Extensive work experience within own function Apply knowledge/skills to a range of equipment manufacturers Demonstrate deep knowledge/skills in own function Act as a technical resource to others in the function on occasion Proactively identify solutions to non‑standard requests Resolve moderately complex problems independently Collaborate with the team to solve complex problems Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet objectives Coordinate work of other team members when appropriate Work independently using extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiation physics, and dosage Confirm appropriate clinical data, obtain patient history, and use the lowest possible dose to provide high‑quality images for the interpreting radiologist Deliver excellent customer service and support to patients and clinicians, answering phones, scheduling, and conducting outreach calls on behalf of the department Ensure the emotional, physical wellbeing, and safety of patients while maintaining strict confidentiality standards Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members Understand and perform other radiology department responsibilities regularly Recognize and communicate equipment problems to the Department Supervisor in a timely manner Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit Graduate of an accredited radiography program ARRT license or registry eligibility Licensed in Massachusetts as a radiologic technologist Ability to provide CEU documentation required for licensure Preferred Qualifications American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty 2+ years of experience working as a supervisor or team leader 1+ year of experience working as a radiology technologist C‑arm experience for Pain Management Knowledge of Digital Radiography, Carestream, Epic, Synapse, Pacsgear, answering phones, and scheduling exams Benefits and Compensation Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other variables. The hourly pay range for this full‑time role is $29.00 to $52.00 per hour. In addition to salary, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions are offered (subject to eligibility requirements).
