Health Care Litigation and Disputes Associate - Nashville (2–4 Years) – Nashville or Chattanooga

Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized Health Care Litigation practice in Nashville or Chattanooga. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-impact disputes in the evolving healthcare sector.

The team handles sophisticated litigation for healthcare providers, hospitals, and industry stakeholders, offering exposure to a wide range of regulatory and reimbursement-related issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft briefs, complaints, motions, and discovery in complex healthcare litigation matters
• Support all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
• Participate in depositions and client communications
• Advise on disputes involving managed care, reimbursement, medical malpractice, and healthcare operations

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of complex litigation experience at a law firm
• Strong writing experience, including briefs, motions, and discovery
• Experience with depositions is a plus
• Exposure to healthcare-related matters (e.g., hospitals, managed care, reimbursement) preferred
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ambitious, team-oriented, and able to handle complex subject matter
• J.D. and active Tennessee Bar admission required
