Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up of SMT components on feeders and tear down of SMT line.
- Operation of SMT machine. Must be able to adjust, set-up, and operate SMT machines and load proper parts into the machine.
- Monitor all daily functions of the SMT line with respect to production output, daily priorities, scrap management, quality and production processes.
- Ensure efficiency targets are being met and constantly looking to improve them.
- Monitor and manage shift priorities, deliveries and setting up staff accordingly to meet deadlines.
- Ensure employees follow established procedures throughout manufacturing processes using required materials and tools.
- Perform shift change communication with peers outlining work accomplished, workload, production issues and delivery priorities.
- Able to interpret Quality “IPC” and customer requirements and interpret engineering documentation and work instruction.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are being followed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous related experience and/or training in SMT operation.
- Analytical and strong problem solver – able to identify, escalate and effectively resolve issues using root cause analysis tools
- Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely convey information in a timely and accurate manner
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and perform tasks efficiently
Requirements:
-Ability to pass a 7-year Background Check (Required)
-Ability to pass a Drug Test (Required)
Schedule:
-1st Shift (6:00AM – 2:30PM) Monday-Friday
-2nd Shift (2:30PM – 11:00PM) Monday-Friday
