Job Description

Computershare Technology Services (CTS) provides global technology and infrastructure/support services for existing Computershare proprietary software together with a full range of development services for new products. Technology is responsible for supporting the business lines with their demand and is part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team which creates customer-oriented solutions aligned to the overall Computershare and Technology strategy and values. Within Computershare Corporate Trust Technology, you'll join a fast‑paced Agile team that supports critical business applications while also building new solutions from the ground up. As a Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to grow your technical skills, learn quickly, and make a real impact, working on both legacy platforms and exciting greenfield development.

As a Software Engineer, you'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working within an Agile team to design, build, test, and support applications used across the Corporate Trust business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software using Agile development practices
• Contributing to both legacy application support and greenfield development of new applications
• Building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Supporting containerized applications, including deployments on OpenShift
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and post‑deployment support
• Collaborating closely with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions

• Strong Java development experience
• Exposure to React (working knowledge is sufficient)
• Experience working with REST APIs and modern application architectures
• Familiarity with container platforms (OpenShift preferred)

• Comfort working across both backend and frontend technologies
• A proactive, collaborative approach and openness to feedback

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is $86,943.15 – $123,894.25 for Columbia, MD, and $82,803.00 – $117,994.75 for Minneapolis, MN.
