Remote Family Travel Planner and Advisor(Remote)

Departure Travel is looking for motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about helping others create memorable travel experiences. We are seeking a Lead Travel Agent / Travel Assistant Customer Service team member who thrives in a remote environment and enjoys working with clients through every stage of their travel journey.

This flexible remote opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, communication, organization, and travel planning while working hours that fit their lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Client Journey Support

Guide clients through every stage of the travel planning process
Assist with trip inquiries, destination information, and travel options
Provide professional and timely communication throughout the booking experience
Follow up with clients to confirm travel plans and ensure satisfaction

Customer Service & Communication

Respond to client emails, phone calls, and messages in a professional manner
Support clients with travel modifications, cancellations, and updates
Maintain positive relationships through empathy, patience, and efficiency
Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a stress-free experience for travelers

Travel Coordination & Organization

Provide up-to-date information regarding destinations, travel documentation, and agency processes
Maintain organized client records and communication
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail with travel information and scheduling
Gather post-trip feedback to help improve the client experience

Professional Growth & Team Collaboration

Stay informed on travel trends, destinations, and industry tools
Learn and adapt to new systems, technology, and agency resources
Collaborate with team members in a supportive remote environment
Be flexible with evening availability when needed to support clients
