Senior Civil Engineer – Airport Infrastructure (REQUIRED)

Senior Civil Engineer role focused on design and planning of active airport infrastructure. This is not general civil work. Candidates must have direct airport project experience working within operating commercial airport environments.

Work supports major airport expansion and modernization programs across the U.S., including landside systems and Automated People Mover (APM) infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Lead civil design for airport terminal and landside infrastructure
Design within active airport environments (phasing, constraints, coordination)
Support APM systems: guideways, stations, alignments, supporting civil scope
Develop grading, drainage, utilities, and pavement designs specific to airports
Contribute to airport capital improvement programs (CIP)
Coordinate with airport authorities, planners, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide design support during construction phases

Requirements

Direct airport/aviation project experience required
Experience designing within active commercial airport environments
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
7+ years civil engineering experience on airport or aviation infrastructure projects
Hands-on design experience with APM systems, airside/landside interfaces, or terminal-area infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of airport design standards and agency coordination
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
EIT required
PE preferred

This role targets civil engineers who have already executed airport design work and understand the operational, regulatory, and phasing complexities of building inside active airports.
