NHC HealthCare Anniston is offering a free, two-week Student CNA training class designed to help you gain the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.No previous healthcare experience is required. We are looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who are ready to learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.About the ClassThis is a fast-paced, two-week nurse aide training program. Students will participate in classroom instruction and clinical training to prepare for CNA certification and future employment opportunities.To be considered for the class, please bring the following items to your interview:Completed applicationValid photo identificationSocial Security cardAttendance and Academic RequirementsBecause the class is completed in only two weeks, attendance is extremely important.Students must attend every scheduled class and clinical session.Absences and tardiness are not permitted.Students must maintain a minimum grade average of 85% to remain in the program.Class SuppliesA refundable $40 deposit for books and supplies is required on the first day of class. The deposit will be returned after successful graduation from the program.Students must also purchase one set of scrubs to wear during classroom and clinical training.Candidate SelectionAll applicants will complete required background and registry screenings in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements.Students are selected based on:Current staffing needsShift availabilityScheduling flexibilityPrevious work historyDependabilityProfessional attitudeOverall qualificationsThe most qualified candidates will be selected for each class.Career Opportunities After ClassSuccessful completion of the program may lead to employment opportunities with NHC HealthCare Anniston.
